2025 Make a Will Month

Have you received an email from your favorite charity lately? Many non-profit organizations recognize August as “National Make a Will Month” to promote legacy gifts. Whatever the motivation, as the summer winds down, it’s a great time to make sure your estate plan is up to date, including double-checking beneficiaries and verifying you have the right tools in place for your current situation. For many people, a will alone may not fully accomplish their estate planning goals. A comprehensive estate plan designed to meet all of your needs may include a revocable living trust, a will, a power of attorney, an advance directive for health care, and a variety of other documents depending on your unique circumstances.
